These fishing reels have four A-RB® ball bearings and one roller bearing for super-smooth retrieves, and the Fluidrive® II provides smooth, effortless cranking, thanks to a smooth, polished master gear. The Super Stopper® II one-way roller bearing won't allow any backplay in the handle, giving you solid hooksets. The Dynabalance® eliminates any reel wobble by counter-balancing the rotor for greater sensitivity. The Power Roller® line roller reduces line twist from repeated casts and retrieves. A spare aluminum spool comes with select reels.
The MGFA Shimano Stradic Reel series has a tough, lighter-weight magnesium frame with a thick, clear coat for extra corrosion resistance, along with graphite sideplates and rotor and a cold-forged aluminum spool. FH models have graphite sideplates and and super-slow oscillation for good line lay and castability.
